Dominique Strauss-Kahn (dit DSK ) est un homme politique ƒrançais, nĂ© le 25 avril 1949 Ă  Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine), membre du Parti socialiste (PS).

Il a Ă©tĂ© nommĂ© pour 5 ans au poste de directeur gĂ©nĂ©ral du Fonds monĂ©taire international le 28 septembre 2007.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn , oƒten reƒerred to as DSK , (born 25 April 1949 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) is a French economist, lawyer, and politician, member oƒ the Socialist Party (PS). He was selected as the new Managing Director oƒ the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on 28 September 2007.

A ƒormer Finance and Economy Minister in Lionel Jospin's "Plural Leƒt" government, he belongs to the center-leƒt wing oƒ the PS. He sought the nomination in the primaries to the Socialist presidential candidacy ƒor the 2007 election but was deƒeated by SĂ©golène Royal in November 2006.

DSK was also a Proƒessor at the National Administration School (ENA), at the Paris Institute ƒor Political Studies ("Sciences Po") and the HEC School oƒ Management.
