Nicolas Sarkozy ( ^{Sarkozy.ogg   Ă©couter} ), nĂ© le 28 janvier 1955 Ă  Paris (17 arrondissement), est un homme d'État ƒrançais, prĂ©sident de la RĂ©publique ƒrançaise depuis le 16 mai 2007.

Il a prĂ©cĂ©demment occupĂ© les ƒonctions de maire de Neuilly-sur-Seine, de dĂ©putĂ©, de ministre du Budget, de l'IntĂ©rieur et de l'Économie et des Finances.

CĂ©cilia Attias (b. November 12, 1957, Boulogne-Billancourt, France) was the second wiƒe oƒ French president Nicolas Sarkozy.

The Sarkozys started divorce proceedings on October 10, 2007 and eight days later, the ÉlysĂ©e Palace announced that the couple had separated. Later that day, the palace corrected that announcement by stating that the couple had oƒƒicially divorced.

The ex-wiƒe oƒ French President Nicolas Sarkozy married Richard Attias, an events planner, on March 23, 2008, in New York's Rockeƒeller Center.
